Lots of utilities let you add shortcut icons to the Windows 95/NT system tray, but none do it as well and as elegantly as TrayIcon. Using tight code that doesn`t require a ton of DLL or runtime files, TrayIcon can create not only system tray icons for your favorite apps, but ones for Dial-Up Networking (which lets you easily launch your DUN connection) and your desktop (which brings up a list of all the items on your desktop). For each program link, you can specify shortcut name, program path, startup path, program arguments, icon, and the type of window you want the app to run in. Options let you play a .wav file when an application is started (nice touch) and choose a single- or double-click to launch an icon. Let TrayIcon put links to your favorite programs in the corner of the taskbar with a minimum of fuss.
