Many utilities let you add shortcut icons to the system tray, but none do it as well and as cleanly as TrayIcon Standard. It can not only create system-tray icons for your favorite apps, but it can add icons for Dial-Up Networking, Control Panel applets, and programs on your desktop as well. For each program link, you can specify shortcut name, program path, startup path, program arguments, icon, and the type of window you want the app to run in. There are several global options -- including playing a .wav file when an application is started (nice touch), choosing a single- or double-click to launch an icon, and hiding your desktop icons. Let TrayIcon Standard make your life in Windows easier by placing links to your favorite programs and system modules in the corner of the taskbar.
